Through some poking of a skymap and our map of constellations, I've come up with some conclusions as to what realworld constellations map onto which astronomantic constellations.
The Phoenix is of course Ursa Major, and the Chain is Ursa Minor.
The Drowned Man: Bootes, not Orion!
The Mountain is mostly Hercules, with some stars from Ophiuchus.
The Wyrm's head is the constellation Draco: following the body takes you around the edge of Ursa Major and the tip of the tail is Coma Berenices.
The Net, following the line from the Phoenix through the Chain and up over the azimuth, is Cepheus. The Spider is Cassiopeia.
And thus The Oak is basically the whole of Cygnus.
The Claw and The Stork are put together from bits of Perseus and Taurus and Andromeda - I was trying to shoehorn Cassiopeia in as The Claw, but if it's supposed to be that then the relative positions chart is quite a bit out. The Pleiades are the Stork's talons.
[edit: Using another planetarium program: The Claw starts at the very bright Capella and then continues jaggedly on sideways, and then The Stork is just past it, ending at Andromeda (the square constellation).]
The Key is the two very bright stars from Gemini: Castor and Pollux. The Lock is thus the rest of Gemini.
The Door must be composed of Betelgeuse, Sirius, Rigel and Procyon - that is, the right-hand side of the Door cuts right across Orion.
Which tells us immediately why the Sisters are stacked on top of the Door, because they are Orion's belt.
The Stallion, the same distance from the Phoenix as the Phoenix is from the Chain, can only be Leo.
Which makes the Fountain Virgo.
The Wanderer will be seen in the early morning sky in the constellation of the Stork at the second summit this year, and will be absent from the other two. Next year it will be seen in the constellation of The Cup for the first and second summits before disappearing below the horizon.
I hope that this helps.
